The DynaMO 1300SF/640SF series of magneto-optical drives feature
excellent performance, high reliability, capacities of up to 1.3
gigabytes, and an affordable price.
Fujitsu takes the convenience of magneto-optical(MO) technology to
exciting new levels with the DynaMO 1300SF and DynaMO 640SF drives, at
1.3GB and 640MB capacities. These state-of-the-art drives feature the
high-performance Ultra SCSI interface. The excellent performance and
reliability, together with the backward compatibility of MO technology,
make the DynaMO 1300SF and 640SF a superior removable storage solution.
High-performance storage
DynaMO 1300SF and 640SF provide high-capacity, and highly reliable
storage. The 20MB/s speed of Ultra SCSI is twice as fast as conventional
SCSI-2. The drives offer data transfer rates up to 5.92MB/s and up to
1.3GB of storage on a single MO disk. The DynaMO drives are perfect for
storing all types of important data, including video, audio, graphic
files and any other memory intensive application.
Thanks to the new "Cache Millennium" algorithm, a newly
designed ultralight head assembly mechanism, and other innovations,
performance has been significantly improved. Tests conducted by Fujitsu
show that the DynaMO 1300SF and DynaMO 640SF outperform their
predecessors by 30% and 15%, respectively. Dust-resistance has also
doubled compared with previous models.
Protecting Investments in Data
Fujitsu 3.5" MO disks are extremely rugged and highly resistant to
the problems that plague magnetic media. Shock, vibration, moisture,
dust, and magnetic fields will not destroy data stored on an MO disk.
Each disk comes with a lifetime warranty and because of its ruggedness,
it is the perfect medium for the office, home or field.
Multiple Disk Options
Both DynaMO 1300SF and DynaMO 640SF are read/write compatible with all
ISO-compliant, 3.5" disk capacities: 640MB, 540MB, 230MB and 128MB.
The DynaMO 1300SF can also read and write to 1.3GB GIGAMO-standard
disks.
No other storage solution offers as many options to tailor media
selections to applications, while providing such a high level of
investment protection and affordability.
