distributed networks and remote installations, the 110L is a compact alternative
to stand-alone tape drives, eliminating the need to manually load tapes,
increasing data reliability and reducing the investment required for the backup/

Easy to install and use, the 110L's user-friendly LCD screen guides users
through status, diagnostic and help functions.
Available with either an LTO-1 or LTO-2 tape drive, the 110L is ideally suited
for budget-conscious midrange applications experiencing rapid data growth and
decreased backup windows. The 110L offers the flexibility to upgrade to
next-generation tape drives as capacities and system performance rates increase
by simply replacing the tape drive.
With access to as many as 10 data cartridge slots, the 110L can automatically
take care of up to 2 weeks worth of daily backups.

The Exabyte 110L LTO Ultrium autoloader brings world-class automation to
users who have chosen the LTO Ultrium drive technology and need the
benefits of entry-level automation. The 110L accommodates one LTO
Ultrium drive and 10 LTO Ultrium data cartridges. Ideal for distributed
networks and remote installations, the 110L is a compact alternative to
stand alone LTO tape drives.
The user-friendly LCD screen guides users through status, diagnostics
and help functions. The 110L occupies very little space on a desktop or
on top of a server. For optimal performance and convenience, two
autoloaders can be mounted side by side in a standard 19" rack. The
tape drive is designed to be a field-replaceable unit, allowing for ease
of service and the ability to upgrade to future-generation tape drives,
protecting the user's investment.
Optimized for use in SAN applications, the 110L autoloader offers
management capabilities typically found in larger, more expensive
libraries, including ethernet and fibre connectivity, yet at an
entry-level price. The design of the 110L allows it to accommodate other
tape drive technologies as well, including M2 and SDLT.
