The IBM System Storage™ TS3400 Tape
Library is designed to offer the high capacity and performance
advantage of the IBM System Storage TS1120 Tape Drive in a small
automation footprint for IBM System i™, System p™, System x™, System
z™1 and other open systems environments. The TS3400 tape
library is an external 5U standalone or rack-mountable unit that can
incorporate up to two TS1120 tape drives. The library supports a
data rate transfer of up to 104 MBps per drive.

The IBM Virtualization Engine TS7510
combines hardware and software into an integrated solution designed
to provide tape virtualization for open systems servers connecting
over Fibre Channel physical connections. The TS7510 combines IBM
server technology, disk technology, tape technology with specially
developed software that emulates tape libraries, tape drives, and
tape media.
