Each BQ Series VAS is a complete solution: high
performance video archive servers configured for popular archive software
packages, large disk cache for fast access to current content and a Simply
Reliable robotic tape library. Four base models can be easily expanded in
the field enabling you to increase the size of your archive when you need
to, minimizing initial and operational costs. All you need to supply is a
network connection and you are up and running.

BQ 20/44
1,440 to 3,168 hours of DV25 video
The BQ 20/44 are rack mounted systems that combine robotic
cartridge tape libraries with high performance servers and 2 TB of
built in hard disk storage. BQ 20 systems can be easily expanded
in the field to more than double capacity and throughput.

BQ 33/66
2,376 to 4,752 hours of DV25 video
The BQ 33/66 systems combine 33 or 66 slot robotic cartridge tape
libraries with high performance servers containing 2 TB of built
in hard disk storage. The BQ 33 can be easily expanded in the
field to double capacity, and both models can contain up to four
tape drives to increase throughput if needed.

BQ 132/264
9,504 to 19,008 hours of DV25 video
The BQ 132/264 systems combine 132 or 264 slot robotic cartridge
tape libraries with high performance servers containing 3 TB of
built in hard disk storage. The BQ 132 can be easily expanded to
264 slots, and both models may be expanded to eight drives in the
field.

BQ XLS
21,240 to 38,520 hours of DV25 video
The BQ XLS models are large systems that hold 295 data cartridges.
Each system has 3 TB of built in hard disk storage. The library
can be expanded in the field to 535 slots by adding one or two
Storage Pods containing 120 additional slots each to the base
unit. The systems come with four LTO 4 tape drives for fast access
to video content.
